Content Developer

Are you sex-positive? Does writing about love, sex, and relationships sound exciting to you?

Love Matters Kenya is looking for a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) content developer for our amazing website, and we’d like to hear from you.

We are looking for a bold, creative, sex-positive, and curious website content writer who is comfortable working in an environment that focuses on what is considered ‘taboo’ topics.

In particular, we’re looking for an experienced developer in the following areas:

  • STIs – including HIV, puberty, love and relationships, contraceptives, sexual orientation, post-abortion care, safe sex, pregnancy, gender-based violence, comprehensive sexuality education, and mental health.

Are you…

  • Able to write tips, how-to articles, personal stories, and more detailed explainers that are clear, well-researched, engaging, and easy to understand?
  • Incorporate the peer-to-peer tone in your writing?
  • Creative and able to generate article ideas, take suggestions, and make topics interesting and exciting?
  • In possession of own computer and strong internet connection?
  • Kenyan and able to work remotely and meet strict deadlines?
  • Over 18 years old with solid English writing skills?
